What is microcurrents?
They are small pulses of electrical current that stimulates the muscles under the hypodermis of the skin – allowing the muscles to contract. It’s like a “gym workout” for your facial muscles.
The contractions strengthen and firms the facial muscles.
Why use a Micro Current Massager?
It is a safe and non-invasive method to tone and contour the face.
It’ll make your skin look plumper, firmer, and smoother!
Do I need to use a conductive gel?
Yes – without a conductive gel the microcurrent device may not penetrate the skin.
Using a slippery, water based conductive gel will ensure that your device glides smoothly over your skin without dragging. More importantly, the conductive gel creates a low resistance connection with your skin which will allow the microcurrents to flow through easily.
What are the 3 different Modes?
V-shaped – Lifting and shaping
Lifting – Heat sense lifting mode (constant temperature)
EMS – "Electrical Muscle Stimulation" Lightens and tightens lines
Which mode should I use for my treatment?
You may use one mode only for each treatment – depending on which mode you prefer or the specific condition you are targeting. We recommend that you use all 3 modes as part of your treatment to get the best benefit.
Do I need to use a specific microcurrent conductive gel?
You may use any other type of conductive gel, which needs to be water based and a gel-like
consistency. Do not use anything that is oil-based. Gels used for ultrasounds are also recommended. A cost-effective alternative that we would recommend is aloe-gel.
Is the Micro Current Masssager painful to use?
No, it should not be painful to use. If your face twitches during treatment, this is completely normal. If you feel any discomfort, reduce the setting or avoid that area.
How often should I use my Microcurrent massager?
In the first 3 months, it is recommended that you use it 5 times per week. Thereafter
you may reduce usage to 2-3 times per week to maintain effects.
You may use it in the morning or evening, whichever is more suitable and convenient for
you.
How long will it take to see results?
Every person’s skin is different – It’s like going to the gym for your body, you need to be
consistent and it takes time to see results.
The same applies to your Microcurrent Massager, you need to use it regularly and
consistently, and as directed to see the desired results.
The best way to measure the effectiveness is to take photos, as you might not notice the
changes looking at yourself in the mirror every day. Take photos in the same place, makeup-free, in a well-lit space every 7 days then place the photos side by side.
*Most people see visible results within 4 weeks, please note, this may vary from person to person and dependent on age and skin
type.
